Paul, founder of The City Lane knows his way around a platter and Pinot, regularly traipsing many of the best little bars this city has to offer. A table for two, some pizza and platters and smooth tunes created the perfect experience for an intimate drop-in.
“The cheese selection is fantastic and, like the wine list, features mostly local cheeses with some imported specialties. For pizza, it’s a mixture of familiar and unfamiliar toppings – the prosciutto and rocket pizza is delicious, and there’s a blue cheese and black pudding pizza for those looking for something bolder.”
The music selection is of note too – when we visited it was a fantastic selection of 70s and 80s R&B and soul hits.
